About The Artwork
The Decorative qualities in my painting are informed by an interest in Australian Aboriginal artworks as well as Indian tapestries and closer to home, urban street art. The sculptural qualities of the works challenge the traditional notions of 'Painting'. The extensive list of materials used include resin, spray paint, sand, stones and beads. These elements are all mounted on thick board.
