Art Description

Painting: Acrylic, Enamel, Household, Oil and Spray Paint on Paper and Wood.

Mix media painting of Japanese baseball star Kosuke Fukudome. This painting was done for an exhibit in a restaurant in Chicago back in 2007. Baseball art and the celebration of the Cubs latest superstar pick up way back when... He hit a game tying home run in the bottoms of the ninth opening day. They eventually lost. Won their division and went on to get swept by the Dodgers in the first round of the playoffs. That year and the next were the most disappointing years for the Cubs as they were really good winning the division twice and getting swept twice in the first round. They haven't been back since last year where they almost went to the World Series. There's always next year.
