About The Artwork
Living very close to the Mexico US Border in Rosarito Beach Baja California, I had to make a comment about the recent controversy surroundig the Trump Wall. Since here in Rosarito we have a large reverse migration of mostly retired US residents, I had to portray the happy loving relationship that usually takes place on both sides of the border between Mexicans and Americans outside of the political spheres. This painting basically describes how Love transcends all borders and what better way to say it than with a toast and with a kiss!! JCM
