ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Bako National Park is one of my favourite places in Sarawak. Great beaches, forest walks and lots of proboscis monkeys, macaques, wild boar and other wildlife. This secluded beach was a great retreat one afternoon, so I took some sketches and reference shots so I could capture the peaceful feeling I had that day. It's painted in acrylic with a heavy impasto giving it thick, rich texture. The piece is framed in a simple, white frame with a white mat. There is a sawtooth mount at the back. If you would prefer, I can also ship the piece with no frame, rolled in a mailing tube which saves on postage and packaging. Please get in touch for a quote.
