ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is part of an ongoing project on ballerina's and bodies in movement. It all started a few years ago and I love to pick up the project from time to time adding new compositions and painting the subject with different techniques. The concept behind this is the capability of each one to raise above our human condition through performing art and free our self from gravity although the sensation might last a few seconds.... I try to transmit this freedom on a 'blank canvas' and love to share the process and the final result of the piece.
