About The Artwork
Inspired by a trip to the Flinders Ranges in the South Australian Outback in 2018, this painting depicts the proposed site of the Australian Federal Governments nuclear waste dump. The proposal was abandoned due to lack of community support and another site near the farming community of Kimba in South Australia was chosen.
