About The Artwork

Oil painting on canvas laid down on Wood, Bath of the gods is a painting that is originated by me, the Title, the idea everything is from within me, I love Classical Antiquities, also anything that as to do with History, Cultures, Religions, people, etc I love them all. Greek and Roman goddesses I Love them all and the stories behind them, I love the historical paintings by our great Old Masters which depicts these gods & goddesses, I have never come across one titled bath of the gods, I have seen them in paintings having baths but none with this title, so I said to my self I will create a painting and call it Bath of the gods, but before I started this painting I did a very beautiful pen and ink drawing as the study, I sometimes plan out my paintings when the inspirations come flowing in, The pen and Ink drawing the Study for this painting is below you can take a look, I Love this painting, Art is where my heart is, so I spend a lot of time with my paintings, reviewing and reconstructing if the painting wants me to change something, then I change it if not, I leave it but still review them, they are my creations, and I Love All my artworks
