Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Canvas.

I live on an island in North Carolina, known as Pleasure Island. The island consists of Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, and Fort Fisher. Fort Fisher was a Confederate fort during the American Civil War. It is now a state historic site. The Army Corp of Engineers constructed a 3,040-foot long sea wall consisting of 3-ton granite rock and 5-ton cast concrete piers. The main purpose of the sea wall is to stabilize the beach and protect the remnants of the historic Civil War fort.

It is an acrylic painting finished with a matte varnish. This is a one of a kind artwork. I always sign my work on the back and usually on the front as well. You will receive a certificate of authenticity with your piece of art.
