This is a commissioned piece for a collector who already has several pieces of my work and has become a friend. So it was a great honour to be given the most central wall in her beautiful minimalist/modern alpine chalet and be told to do whatever I like with it. It took a little time, always at work in the back of my mind, before I knew the feeling and look that fit to her and the place, but she is absolutely blown away by the result. What I keep hearing lately is "how do you manage to put my exact feelings into an image?" I simply feel it, and my joy is found in hers. The title comes from the Book of Solomon, where wisdom is personified as a woman....
