Painting: Enamel, Oil, Acrylic on Canvas.
This work is an integral part of a series of explorations and plastic-philosophical reflections subordinated to the theme of language and the shaping of the self and human relationships through it.
Since the dawn of humankind, language ihas evolved ts complexities and its importance in becoming human.
The basis of the series are the philosophical reflections of Ludwig Wittgenstein, intertwined with my own personal thoughts and experiences, sublimed through images.
This work in particular, is inspired by and explores the role of the internet databases' knowledge libraries and the decaying of tradicional knowledge.
It also deals with a puzzling and important question: who builds these databases? Books have authors, but the digital thinking as also alias, which are, many times, front covers to spread ideas and rumours that are spread as truths and can shape our way of thinking.
I want viewers to think of the vacuity of this alledged knowledge if left unthought.
