About The Artwork

Paintings made on silk are quite rare. They have complex technical implementation. But the possibility of performing special effects is characteristic only of this technique. The silk used currently is antique, it is 40 years old and silk of this kind is not produced in Uzbekistan, since the technique was lost by craftsmen from Margilan. The plot is inspired by natural motifs, birds as an image of inspiration and spiritual joy. The pomegranate is a symbol of abundance and fertility, it is also the character of unity. When contemplating this picture, I feel a certain calmness and at the same time the dynamics of Life. The plot is complemented by transparent tones of Turquoise and the presence of warm yellow, like the play of sunlight in the branches. The effect of cracks on silk gives the work a light vintage style.

In childhood, there was no example of an artist in the family, artistic activity was considered in the family of my consanguinity - a useless occupation and not a serious profession. But the craving for drawing was from the age of 5. I remember myself sketching everything, all my school notebooks were drawn and I carried notebooks and a pencil with me all the time. At the age of 14, I told my parents that I would be an artist, everyone tried to stop me and choose another profession. But still they could not convince me, and the desire to draw gained support from my parents. I began to study academic drawing for university admission. After studying, I tried to write on silk and this was love from the first drop of paint. During the trial period of painting on silk, there were no paints or reserve compositions, so I had to try different options and cook the paint itself and the base, thanks to this experience, now I am the best specialist in my field in Uzbekistan, a specialist who uses new methods and techniques.
