ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Looking past the obvious, taking ordinary and turning it into unexpected. Usually working in acrylics, I often apply bold colors, which I love to experiment with, and large brush strokes. Usually painting Female Nudes or Blooms, I prefer not to objectify. The challenge is to see beyond the distraction of the banal to emphasize its unique self. I believe, an unusual usage of colors helps me to show my perception. There’s so much beauty in all of us, I just want everyone to see it.
