Black Mist Painting

Hello, I am a self taught but incredibly dedicated alcohol and paper artist in London. I am reasonably new to this entire medium but seem to have an innate ability to create technical and complex pieces from a mostly uncontrollable medium. It's art and format of never being able to replicate a piece excites me. I love the creative process, even when it's not what I wanted. I find myself often pleased with things (or able to make them great) after I have left them for a while. All of those pieces are most popular. It's rare that I throw anything away. I return to it in order to make it marvellous. Which is what my name means in Swahili and reminds me of my favourite Anais Nin quote: "I am an excitable person who only understands life lyrically, musically, in whom feelings are much stronger as reason. I am so thirsty for the marvellous that only the marvellous has power over me. Anything I can not transform into something marvellous, I let go. Reality doesn't impress me. I only believe in intoxication, in ecstasy, and when ordinary life shackles me, I escape, one way or another. No more walls.”
