ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting is an abstract rendition of a crazy situation I had with my family while visiting a Texas/Mexico border town. We were staying in a hotel with an outdoor courtyard, and our daughter was sleepwalking and ended up outside, knocking on the door. It scared us but when we asked her what she was doing, she replied, 'I needed some air.' She remembered none of it the next day! When she came back in our room, I saw the most amazing harvest or blood moon. I chose the raw, style and bright colors to emphasize the surreal memory of that night.
