"Blue City" is a hard-edge geometric, modern view of a city skyline with a play of light and shadow. What city is this? Well, any city with tall buildings that gets lots of sunlight, of course. Full size this canvas measures 53H x 45W inches leaving finished canvas to stretch on 1.5" stretcher bars to 48"x40" image as shown. See additional photos for details. It's signed on back and ships in a tube. This makes it really safe for oversized art and provides lower shipping costs. Rolled works can be easily stretched on wooden stretcher bars or framed by a local framer upon arrival. The canvas is finished to the outer edges to make sure the edges will be completely finished so framing would not be necessary on stretched.

As a minimalist artist, I find inspiration in capturing the essence of Earth's organic elements through silhouettes and simplified shapes. I celebrate the inherent beauty of rock formations, flowers, and water, blending well-defined shapes with expansive negative spaces to create intriguing compositions. ~~ Bio Laura Welshans is a multi-media abstract artist residing in Little Rock, Arkansas. She has exhibited her artwork in juried group shows like the 61st Delta Exhibition of the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts and The Other Art Fair in Dallas and Chicago as well as showcased her work in numerous solo exhibitions throughout her home state of Arkansas. She received a fellowship from Artist INC and selected for the Jen Tough Gallery Collective in Santa Fe, NM. Her work belongs to collections including CARTI Cancer Center and The Haywood Hotel. Laura shares her passion by teaching at the CreatorFest summer camp. She has received juried art awards and included in many publications.
