L'artiste représente ici un cheval des montagnes des Abruzzes, Italie. Des motifs de décor de palais italiens se superposent à l'animal. Anne Brenner a fait une résidence d'artiste en 2021 où elle a posé des caméras infrarouges dans les montagnes sauvages d'Italie. Elle a obtenu des photos des ours, des loups et des cerfs. De retour dans son atelier, elle crée des peintures inspirées par les photos des animaux. Cette oeuvre mélange figuration et abstraction, la touche de l'artiste est expressionniste et certains passages de couleurs sont impressionnistes.

French born in Canada, Anne Brenner lives and works in Paris. She is a graduate of the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris and has a degree in Fine Arts, Panthéon-Sorbonne. Multidisciplinary, she explores the living ecosystem through painting and photography. Brenner does residencies. She was at La Mauricie Park, QC, Canada and at Kangaroo Island, Australia. Her latest residency was in Abruzzes, Italy. Anne has exhibited in several venues including the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris and The Royal Academy, London. Her work is featured in many private collections worlwilde.
