Art Description

Painting: Acrylic on Other.

As with Blue on White, this 3-dimensional painting references the built environment, stability of structures and how they stand up to decay and neglect. Layers of peeled paint from walls reveals years of use and generations that inhabited these structures. Ever heard of the expression, "If these walls had ears", or, "if walls could talk"? There is a story to every built structure, and especially interesting are those that have been forgotten. Behind every run down building, rain dripping, wires hanging, graffitti riddled...there is a story waiting to be told.
