Sarah Abati, a Martinican fine artist who was one since childhood & studied Visual art with an design option at the faculty of Art of Strasbourg in France. Today she's sharing her work time between her passion for art with her main job as a sale and marketing manager in the sailing business. Sarah’s work is inspired by her international travels, her love for the ocean, coastal and inland landscapes and simply by life! Her work going with the flow of life is in constant move ... Having grown up by the Atlantic seashore in the tiny Carribean island, Martinique, she is drawn to the ever changing ocean and coastal scenes, but not only ... Rather than representing a specific place, face or object, Sarah is interested in creating views that you feel. Plurality is the essence of her work, either in the materials, techniques and supports used ... By making paintings that's represent who she is and her vision, Sarah invites viewers to invent their own stories about the places and things she creates in her work.
