About The Artwork

I was inspired by Marcel Duchamp's "Boîte-en-valise" is a portable museum that consists of miniature replicas and facsimiles of his own works. It has been made in 300 editions since the mid-1930s until after his death. The "Boîte-en-valise" is presented closed and is believed to contain the miniaturized reproductions of Duchamp's works. The artist chose oil on canvas as a medium for the paintings in "The Davis Museum Paintings Section" because of its versatility and historical significance. The artist used high-quality materials such as linen canvases, Old Holland oils, and Blockx medium. The paintings were framed squarely due to the Davis Museum's cube shape, and the artist used different colors for different periods of the charts - gray for 2011 to 2016, blue for 2016 to 2018, and full color for paintings from 2019 onwards.
