About The Artwork
In the 1850s. British settlers began grazing the Flinders Ranges in outback South Australia. The locals resisted the destruction and the settlers retaliated with gun violence assisted by Government police. This painting is an attempt to show something of the beauty of the area and the personal impression it has on me.
