About The Artwork
This piece was inspired by my love of music and architecture. It has a lot of visual rhythm and a dynamic use of lines and color. I like that it reminds me of jazz improvisation, with the shapes and lines taking unexpected twists and turns. The title is taken from a Thelonious Monk composition. I hope that the viewer feels a sense of upbeat energy when looking at the piece.
