Building nest Painting

Synopsis The name, Building nest comes from Build a nest. Algarve has been a second home for many years, a place of relief, peace and quiet and, by chance right next door, facing the cliff every morning. These works began in my notebooks precisely in the Algarve, where I go to paint more intimately in a different light. Then they went to the canvas in scale and without fear. It thus became not just a work but a living testimony of the warmth of a feeling. What is a Hangup? It's a work of textile art, basically it's a canvas, fabric in linen and cotton generally, but it's not crated on the back with wood. It's made to feel not just like a painting, but goes beyond that. It is a blanket work. Not to cover ourselves obviously, but it contains in itself the delicacy of the art of the hands that we learn from girls with mothers and grandmothers and following traditions. The artist deconstructs, frees himself from rules and explodes the heart in all directions without taboos. Use everything without fear. it is to be hung with space between the work and the wall to be able to have the breeze of those passing by behind it. It is a living work. Talker, conversationalist. They are slow works that cannot and do not want speed, although they may even be born quickly, others are of longer gestation. From the moment I prepare the fabrics, the minimum time is your months. Medium Cotton fabric, acrylic and gesso embroidered by hand.
