ABOUT THE ARTWORK

My intensified painter's palette is largely responsible for the intensity of the presence of a herd of monstries. The intriguing fact that I choose colors from our immediate surroundings for creatures in every distant dimension. The colors I borrow from fir and spruce fill the surroundings of floral figures that shine with warm honey, ripe tomatoes and dove blue, nonchalantly filling freely outlined contours. The dense painting matter swirls on top, unfinished, allowing this extraordinary collection of representations to be constituted in its own way. Leaving the images somewhat half-way in a deliberately unfinished phase gives floral bodies the possibility of free formation and transformation when we take them out of our sight for a moment. Painted sides, signed at the back of the painting.
