Burn it Blue Painting

Sonia Reis was born in Lagos on the 31th May 1977. She has always expressed interest in the world of Arts (Drawing / Illustration / Painting on Canvas / Mural / Collage / Interior Design). She attended a course in Fashion Design at the IADE (Institute of Art & Design) and another in Industrial Fashion Design at MAGESTIL, in Lisbon. She soon completed her background with a specialization in Fashion Design, also at the MAGESTIL institute. Later she attended a course of Interior Design at FRESS (Fundação Ricardo Espírito Santo e Silva) in Lisbon. Along the way, she attented a workshop in Scientific Ilustration with Pedro Salgado in UALG (Algarve University). From January 2011 to 2012 she has been attending classes of Oil Painting with Plastic Artist Gustavo Fernandes, in his Atelier in Oeiras (Lisbon). Sonia Reis currently resides in Algarve and presents her works in regular exhibitions.
