About The Artwork
Inspired by family holidays peering into rockpools. Memories in our minds tend to have a rose tinted glow and I try to convey that here. I'd like the viewer to feel comforted and reminded of their own experience. Everyone loves that feeling of rolling up their trousers/leggings, taking off their socks and re-connecting with nature and their childhood memories. I try to keep the looseness of those memories in my paint application.
