Gairat Baimatov is the most famous contemporary artist. The value of his paintings grows every year. The artist was born in 1946 in Uzbekistan. Childhood and youth were spent in the old Uzbek district of Tashkent. The works of G. Baimatov reflect the organic synthesis of East and West, a peculiar evolution and symbiosis of the typological features of the academic art school and the art of modernism, which makes it possible to classify the artist as a universal transnational culture, the language and content of which is now understandable in any corner of the globe.
