Byzantine princess. The author of this painting was inspired by a feature film based on real facts. Byzantium, XV century, Turkish troops took Constantinople. As a peace treaty, the Grand Sultan of Turkey, Muhammad II, asks for the hand of Carmensina, the daughter of the Byzantine emperor. The proud ruler of Byzantium does not want to give both his daughter and the capital of his empire into the hands of the enemy. But the choice is inevitable. His best commander Tirant, burning with passion for the beautiful Carmencina, challenges the countless hordes of Turks. But what worries him is not the outcome of the great battle, but the capture of the impregnable heart of the emperor’s beautiful daughter. The painting is made in a very rare and interesting color scheme. The rich decor is similar to the luxurious frescoes of ancient Byzantium and the decor of paintings by Gustav Klimt. The painting is unusual and memorable.
