In this expressionist work, I'm referring to Caravaggio. This Italian painter from the 16th century brought a certain naturalism to the fore and made a particularly strong impression with his work on contrasts. His creations were as impetuous as their creator and have gone down in history. Using fluid techniques, I wanted to make the different coloured planes float on the paper. Nuances and effects combine, perhaps translating a little of human emotion. The soft colours contrast with the dark ones, creating an internal rhythm. This homage is quite unclassifiable, a surreal landscape that may lead you to contemplation. Information: The signature and title are on the reverse. The 325 g/m² paper is unalterable and acid-free.
