About The Artwork

Part of my life from the first moment, Venezuela and its blues, Venezuela and its spaces. What more excuse to create and generate an emotional impact with its beauty. The oil on this occasion recreates it to highlight the sublime and spectacular of its existence. Thanks for allowing me to capture you and take refuge in you, and make others dream.

My purpose: beauty, and hope for everydayness that overwhelms. Brushstroke of my feeling that is recreated infinitely in each nuance, in each color you want to impact and recite that there is hope, that there is aesthetics that contribute in others to follow your path, your dreams, your freedom to be, to do and to have no limits. In the spiritual I am inspired; my soul translates it and returns to others with modesty to support them, to give them encouragement and life, so that they can build their own creation of survival with my company, with my poetry. Thank you life, thanks instant creator! I develope my artistic career in my country, Venezuela. I start working in private galleries as an assistant technical for the Inventory, Diagnosis and Conservation of Works. Then I participate in the project of restoration of the Federal Legislative Palace (seat of the Legislative Power in Venezuela), in the investigative phase from the pictorial works belonging to the Palace collection, and in the intervention for the restoration of the work "Batalla de Boyacá" (“Boyacá Battle”), of the famous Venezuelan painter of the 19th century Martín Tovar y Tovar. In parallel, and later, I form part from diverse research and restoration projects, so much from collections belonging to the cultural heritage of the nation, as of collections private. For so, I am invited by the artist Gabriel Guevara Jurado to write the presentation words of your work in the exhibition "Artists in Contrast", Gallería 125. Subsequently, I work as the manager of the Drawing Cabinet and Estamp, in the National Art Gallery, and later as the curator of the collection of pictorial and sculptural works of said museum. I give talks in Venezuela about conservation, participating in those years in the preservation project of the collection of the Central University of Venezuela, carrying out historical research for the restoration of the work "Negativo-Positivo", by Victor Vasarely. I participate as curator and courier of the work "Sphere in Cube", by the artist Gertrudis Goldsmith (Gego) in the exhibition "Inverted Utopías", in the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Texas, USA. My passion from my tender age was painting, and although I developed my career in the area of conservation and restoration of works of art, painting never left me. I continued my training as a painter, being now, and since 2017, my professional activity.
