CITY ON FIRE Painting

My name is Patricia Palomo. I am an architect by profession, Univ of Miami - 1985, but my passion has always been painting. I was born in El Salvador, Central America and have lived in both El Salvador and the United States throughout my life. In the year 2000, I started taking Art classes, with Rosa Mena Valenzuela in her Academy in El Salvador, and remained for four years until her death, participating in various yearly group expositions and a personal exposition in 2003. I have since then taken sculpture classes, figure drawing, and tibetan thangka painting. At times I have been able to dedicate myself only to painting, but other years I have had to switch between Architecture. My art style is very free and expressionistic, usually abstract.
