Painting: Oil, Acrylic on Canvas.
"Confusiong" is a painting from the TAC thesis work "Awareness". The collection consists of 4 paintings and while they're all called "Awareness" three of them have a subheading.
Confusion is the lightest and least transformed painting of the four. While other paintings from the series transformed completely in the progress then with this painting there was a clear view of what it was and what it would be when I finish. Ironically enough I was least confused with this painting, but it has a certain melancholic clarity to me which is then blurred with a layer of uncertainty.
Like other paintings of the "Awareness" series "Confusion" is quite controversial and strikes up a conversation wether it's sad or hopeful. In the end of the day I don't think you have to separate the two and a painting can have more than just one feeling.
