Cactus Flower Painting

I'm Latina visual artist born in Guatemala and based in the United States, and I create art that is colorful, warm and happy just like my heritage. As a visual artist my preferred mediums are acrylic paint, graphite and digital-media, implementing geometric shapes and contrasting colors as recurrent elements in some of my pieces. My art is about storytelling, exploring elements of everyday life and pop-culture aspects in a colorful and cheerful way; often focused on kindness and inclusion. With a background in commercial graphic design and illustration, my paintings have a distinctive, strong figurative and graphic line.
