ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Craggy forms harken the memory of past violent disturbance offset by a lush counterpart. A deep blue separates the 2 sentinels, one built of past conflagration, the other of renewal. A calm bowl of blue tells us change from chaos can be beautiful. I paint abstract landscapes in mixed media using acrylics and an assortment of plant dyes and natural elements apropos to the subject.
