Bonni Bullock grew up in northern California but has lived most her life in Santa Cruz. She now lives in Rocklin California which is in the Sierra foothills. Her passion for creating art started at an early age using many different mediums including acrylic painting, watercolor, wheel and hand built ceramics, life drawing among others. Her love of color and fascination with natural elements are revealed through her compositions, which have themes of human emotion, self- expression and introspection. To her painting is a way to process personal experiences and evoke in viewers similar emotions. Her latest collection explores female form and emotion with a surrealistic flare. Bullock is self taught and academically trained artist, with an Art Studio degree from Cabrillo College. She is a lifelong learner who enjoys feeding her passion of art making through visual experiences and research.
