MIN, born in Taiwan and currently residing in Australia, has been engaged in painting throughout various stages of life. it was in 2021 when a significant portion of time was dedicated to art. My artwork is a harmonious blend of figurative and abstract elements, intertwining colors and textures to create imaginative and dynamic interactions. By drawing inspiration from nature and contemplating life's intricacies,I expresses ideas and imagination through art. In 2022, I entered the world of art, becoming a finalist in the Glover Prize with my painting 'The Other Side.' My debut exhibition took place at Unicorn Lane in Ballarat, receiving local acclaim with a front-page feature in The Courier. Looking ahead to 2023, I'm excited about participating in more art exhibitions and joining the Moorabool Paste-Up Program, which aims to create captivating public spaces and immersive creative experiences for the community. In the year 2023, I devoted more of my time to creating artworks with a focus on mental healing. Many individuals endure nightmares of verbal and physical violence during their formative years, accompanied by feelings of depression and thoughts of self-harm. I view art as a language, and I aspire to use it to help and inspire others, aiding them in reclaiming strength, overcoming pain, and rediscovering their inner power. I strongly believe in the therapeutic power of artistic expression. Through my artworks, I aim to guide viewers in discovering their inner sanctuaries or delving into deeper aspects of life, nature, and self. To me, art is not merely a form of personal expression but a means to foster understanding, healing, and empowerment for others.
