About The Artwork

About the one-of-a-kind artwork: "Celeste With Flowers, Study for my Tokyo Echoes Series of Polytonal Paintings" (Tokyo Echoes Continued series - original painting on on high quality German Hahnemuehle 330gsm artist paper, ready for framing) The unique painting I would consider as a study for my deconstruction artworks of polytonal paintings. I started with this unique concept during my time in Japan, Tokyo, Yokohama and later continued my research in New York City, Boston and San Francisco. All my original paintings are fully signed on the back. (If you wish an additional signature on the front, this is gladly possible on request, please provide a short note when ordering). A certificate of authenticity is attached to each work and includes a list of used material. Painting in interior setting pictures might not be perfectly to scale. Frame not included. I am always happy to assist. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me! anutu-studio@protonmail.com Deeply grateful for your interest in my work! Sincerely, Jacob About the artist JVS Jacob von Sternberg: To heal the tragic drama in which members of his family met their deaths, he travelled around the world. This journey led him along mysterious paths, let him experience unimagined miracles and meet wonderful people. He eventually achieved the healing of generations through his relentless search and longing to reunite his family on two continents. He calls this miracle a gift of God and the essence of the Global Generational Consciousness. „This is no story of death and grief. It is a story of love and learning. This is a story of reunion and how a forced separation for more than forty years was healed by a miracle. These are the first words of my movie script in progress. It seems to me that just now, in this time, this story needs to be told." „In order to see ourselves clearly in the here and now, it is important to understand why we had already made the decisions manifesting here, long before. It is not enough to look at the moment to understand what is happening. The sum of our decisions, made aeons ago, draw our collective reality (and our individual reality). Social conditions limit the unlimited space. The global consciousness is present to foster creativity in order to overcome the limits and restraints build by injustice and unfair social conditions. Von Sternberg’s paintings appear as dreamlike images in which fiction and reality meet, well-known tropes merge, meanings shift, past and present fuse. Time and memory always play a key role. By emphasising aesthetics, he seduces the viewer into a world of ongoing equilibrium and the interval that articulates the stream of daily events. Moments are depicted that only exist to punctuate the human drama in order to clarify our existence and to find poetic meaning in everyday life. By exploring the concept of landscape in a nostalgic way, he investigates the dynamics of landscape, including the manipulation of its effects and the limits of spectacle based on our assumptions of what landscape means to us. Rather than presenting a factual reality, an illusion is fabricated to conjure the realms of our imagination. © 2021 JVS Original Artwork - All rights reserved.

What remains is the love and kindness in my heart, which I cherish like a treasure. Whatever happens in life, the beat of our hearts decides the path. The essence of unity is reflected in my art. I travelled the world in search of my family and eventually achieved the healing of generations through my relentless search and longing to reunite my family on two continents. By nature I am actually rather shy and very sensitive. I love to support others. Love to speak about unity, about love, and all the wonders I witnessed on my journey around the world. I am grateful you are interested in my work. Art is my life. My work features small, medium, large and also extra large scale paintings on a very wide variety of surfaces. I use canvas, paper, wood, and several nonconventional surfaces such as time worn wood, vintage papers, and antique textiles, and metal findings that I have collected over the years during my travels. I often paint with tools that I have developed myself or use unconventional ones. At times I refuse to use brushes and painter's knives and use only things from everyday life in an adapted form to create my art. My sculptural works feature beach wood, textile surfaces in combination with colored resin, and a selection of antique findings.
