About The Artwork
For me monotyping is one of the most exciting artwork. You might not have anything special in mind, just put colours on a plate and print it on paper. Normally you print it once and that's it. That is why it is called monotyp. But when you put more paint on the plate sometimes you can print the same plate twice creating this way a series of paintings. I admire monotyps and always wounder what comes out of print. Sometimes I consider it just perfect and leave it as it is, do not interfere with the colours and the forms. Other times I use brush or knife to create new shapes and roller to smash everything.

I have been painting almost five years in the "Spiritus" art group in Budapest. My master is János Szilágyi. He encouraged me to study and copy the works of great masters like Monet, Van Gogh. From Hungarian artists I painted the works of Csontvary and Gulacsy. I am living in the spell of colors; prefer to use bright, strong, vivid colors. My master says that I use "crispy" and dynamic colors. When I am painting I am in a FLOW experience– where there is no sense of time and space, I become one with my focus. At the end there is the painting, a piece of art – a reward to commemorate the transcendent encounter with the divine source of inspiration. I started to write poems and illustrate them with my works. When writing and painting there is nothing but timelessness, eternity and magic.
