ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I wished to move in a different direction from the precision of being predominantly an animal portrait artist and the accuracy which came with that. I focused my thoughts on developing a 'looser' style of work and decided that something freehand would be a good ice-breaker. Each leaf therefore is created with acrylic paint watered to a pouring consistency enabling me to draw freely as I moved along the canvas. To me 'Changing Seasons' is a delightful peace of art, which is crisp and fresh with an touch of elegance. A whole array of colors are intertwined throughout the canvas by using fluid art techniques, which force the eye to travel along the painting revealing the details and textures within. For those who are looking for art to go with interior decor, this piece has every color you can imagine, so what's not to love?

I’m an English artist from the Midlands, who now resides in South Australia in the beautiful Adelaide Hills where I display my work in exhibitions and establishments around the state.
