About The Artwork
This watercolor is part of a series titled "Solitaries" that I made as a response to the notion of mass that permeates my work. It comes from a photograph I took in a cowboy contest called charreria, the Mexican national sport. I am interested in the solitude and singularity of a lonesome person mounting a horse, almost colorless in the fog. The work will be sent securely rolled in a tube.
