This work was highly inspired by Medieval Art History course I was taking in University (yes, I have an awesome professor who gave us lots of knowledge and inspiration). Cherub, an angelic creature that was created to praise god is opposed to a tree which refers us to tree of life, the one that symbolizes temptation and sin. Through this correlation I was trying to show the two sides of human nature that are not good or bad, just different and that c beautifully co-exist together.

The world we live in is so magic and beautiful is the endless source of inspiration for me. I have been always fascinated in human inner life and exploration of emotions and feelings. In my paintings I am trying to depict soul states, express emotions, convey life experiences so every single character of my artworks has an unique story to tell. Usage of textures, folkish elements and primitive shapes, dramatic contrast between primitive, generalized body and detailed face are the key characteristics of my works.
