About The Artwork
I found a painting of a native online that I wanted to do. That night after I finished it my friend took me to a nearby mountain of an Indian canyon and burial ground where I saw a huge shooting star so I named him "Chief Touch the Clouds" after a famous Indian. I hope that everyone will have a metaphysical experience as I did after coming in contact with this portrait. He is painted on carpet to give him more significance and the bright color purple signifies the royalty of the Native American people.
