Dear art lovers! My name is Anastasia Akunina, I am a Russian artist living in Moscow and I am happy to see you at my artpage. I hope you will find here lots of positive emotions and inspiration. I have been painting the whole my life since I remember myself. However, my parents never considered painting as something serious, so under their pressure I studied medicine and became a doctor, and even worked in a hospital for some time, but deep in my soul I did not betray my sincere passion, I kept learning and painting every single moment I could. My main themes are women's portraits, flowers, landscapes and animals. People say my paintings are bright and colorful with a lot of light and joy. I think it is because I try to capture the positive side of our life – the beauty of nature, harmony of a woman’s body with its curves and lines, kindness and allegiance of our pets, power and strong character of the wild animals. I do believe that we are all creators of our lives, because we are what we focus on. If you create positive space around with the positive things you really like – artworks, handmade stuff, photos of your children, pets, loved ones, if you spend time with optimistic people whom you feel comfortable with, if you do things you really like and enjoy, you will be living in a wonderful world you always dreamed about. And I hope my paintings will make it brighter and more beautiful ? Each painting for me is a love story, and you can read it through my canvas – from the beginning till the end. When I see my finished artwork on the canvas, I feel love deep inside me, and I want to share it through my art world. I also accept individual orders.
