Clarity Painting

With a background in higher education and experiences in subjects other than the art field, it is awe-inspiring to see Joanne’s growth and progress with art as a whole in the present and past. Joanne Kim came to the United States twenty years ago with ambition and motives to pursue her eagerness to succeed in the art world. In Korea, her art career started with calligraphy, which she excelled in. She also eventually taught flower arranging in a private institution she owned. One of her proudest creations are her own flower corsages made with numerous types of materials. Although, calligraphy has been her strongest point, she now experiments with alternate types of art. She has developed a passion for painting, particularly using acrylics. As a previous teacher and avid art lover, she is consistently practicing, in which her subjects include landscapes and nature. She is flourishing with more work and is establishing her own style which is unique to her character, art experiences, and techniques.
