Painting: Gesso, Oil, caseïne on Canvas, Wood.
Oil on canvas. A perception analyzed, dissected and reassembled, using old layering techniques. I wanted to capture the feeling of astonishment when seeing a mountain, how it appears. Though you can't be sure if it's real until you walk on it
As underlayers I used colored gesso mixed with caseïne, which makes a very durable underlayer for the oil paint (casëine attaches to oil paint firmly).
