About The Artwork
Explosive grain dust, electromechanical circuits, gaffer tape, watercolor. Color Theory is a series of performing paintings, which took place during Art Basel Miami Beach. According to the department of media studies of the Rutgets University in New Jersey “with over 250 billion of hours of television watched annually, Americans exhibit five dependency symptoms to television, two more than necessary to be categorized as a clinical substance abuse”. The paintings question the most televised catastrophes in history, which took place in a television hooked nation and serve as standard engineered guidelines to calibrate the chrominance and luminescence of the reality screened by NTSC monitors.
