Columna mutātio - COWMAN of the world Painting

COWMAN of the world is a spatial bas-relief painting. In the exhibition at the Mercati di Traiano he had the role of suggesting the material depth of the marble freggio, of evoking the importance of writing as an element of communication over time, of suggesting that the monument was presumably a coolri and of contaminating the Roman world with the contemporary COWMAN icon. He was exhibited in the Hall of Caesar. The "COWMAN of the world" message is set on the environmental problem, the search for equilibrium on earth through the discovery of values, nature, man, culture, the problem of multiculturality and intercultuirality are the concepts are at the center of his research. Together with the the paper installations drawn with graphite are inspired by itineraria picta, volumina and triumphal paintings, reference sources of Apollodoro of Damasco, designer of Trajan’s Column and of the column’s frieze. The “connoted” papyri, light since they are “emptied of substance”, infinite since they’re fragments without beginning and without ending, suggest the compositional pretext of the rolled up tape, wandering horizontally and vertically in the Great Hall. The contamination of the picture of the frieze’s representation through the interpretation of her artistic research, customized by metamorphosis and by mutation, takes place through pictures joined in a flowing course, continuum of evocations in an almost ritual progression. The COWMAN of the world icon, her artistic visionary reflection on the current world that proposes a possible solution to current crises through the auspice of the birth of a new creature. Protagonist of the future, it is destined to rediscover the ancient values of the founding tradition, to fight against inequalities, to protect peace in the world and above all to restore the balance of life on the planet, solving the pollution problem. Fruit of the imagination and produced by a metamorphosis between the human body - artwork and the body of the cow, L'UOMOMUCCA is the icon of the union between nature and civilization (the cow represents nourishment, nature, the atavistic, sacredness, madre Terra; the man represents intelligence, conscience and civilization). Born sporadically in different continents, it multiplies to become a population and evolves. His mutation from the "Animal Man" to COWMAN of the world, a citizen of the world, contrasts the invasive presence of man's excesses on the Earth. By evoking the history of man's evolution and at the same time of the spirit that resides in all of us, COWMAN of the world is the expression of multiculturalism, of the fight against the breaking down of cultural boundaries.
