About The Artwork
Come Back Spring is two panels that can go separate or together. The inside of the trees are painted so if hung apart you can see that! Each one is a 36Hx12W with a 1.5 thick canvas depth. The background is created with acrylics with some bits of vitrial in the flowers for a 3d look and the entire tree and leafs are all in vitrial, which dries with a wet or glossy look, truly making the tree and leaves jump out. My art is inspired by the beauty that surrounds me living in East Texas. Each day there is something beautiful to look at that leads me to create. I am not limiting my art mediums, as the idea of each piece is unique, from acrylic, to oil, to sand to copper. I tend to do more abstract, but am also enjoying the details of landscape and still life. There is nothing more interesting to me than viewing another artists work and seeing the images that only I saw in it come out and I hope that you can also enjoy that in my work. 42 yr old happily married mother of 2 living in beautiful East Texas on a lake. My family has a history of artists including my Grandmother, Dad and Sister. I have been painting since college. I am enjoying working with Acrylics, adding some sand in from our lake, as well as Vitrial, all on canvas. I tend to do more abstract but also have done some detailed landscape and wildlife.
