ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This series of work developed from my motor sport series. My interest in industrial shapes has through the years developed into a more minimalist style which has resulted in this series of black on black. I have also added some textured areas which were inspired by aboriginal art, the dots are raised and allow the light to play with the black. What the viewer sees is very a personal experience.

The result is a dynamic cocktail of colours and industrial shapes which, through their sensitive juxtaposition, draws the viewer into an exciting world.The Black on Black series is derived from the chequered flag.
