ABOUT THE ARTWORK
An island in Norway long ago. Man had left on their boats to get fish, to get food. Fighting against waves and wind for days and days. On the island a community of women. In this cold winter they survive, sitting together around fires, telling stories, making clothes, taking care of babies and children. No doctor, no lawyer. Only loving women fighting for their life’s with tenderness and care.

That's also why I make huge stained glass windows, to let light enter our homes and churches and hearts. As an artist, I feel I have to promote optimistic and positive art. Bring beauty, truth, solidarity and peace on this planet has always been my aim, and art is a good means to do it. Stained glass windows in churches and private houses should help to find light and peace. Paintings at home should be a fountain of happiness accompanying the owner along the years. Life is looking for love, fighting for it, to make it come through.
