The subject of the Connected series is the issue of social displacement in fast paced urban environment. Its positive and negative impact on an individual. When people are leaving small towns in favour of mega cities, they inevitably join the chase. Whether their race is, fashion, money, fame, power or wealth each one's after, the price is ultimately parting with your own identity in order to fit into the system and follow the crowd. Depending on their vice, they form smaller flocks growing ties and amassing new followers. The world of "connected " is also an image of our immersion into the lives dominated by the electronic connections, ephemeral, fragile in nature; those that available on demand. * accept commissions pls contact saatchi team or me to discuss the details My largest watercolour on paper to date Matching Connected | Bloom Dio 300gsm 100% cotton rug paper See attached photoes for scale and detail Shipped in a large tube . . airport, planes, lounge, flying, suspense, bright pink, hot pink, fuchsia, multicoloured, bright colours, delicate, bedroom, violet, purple, bright orange, vivid, scale, xxl, delicate, bold, dreamy, dreamscape, love, relationship, wedding, marriage, travelling together, bonding, strong, powerful, cool, wow, proud, solid, affair, romantic

Born and raised in a small oily town on the shores of the Caspian Sea, a promising art school graduate age 15, Yuliya pursued more practical direction of a legal profession as the art career was deemed as a destination to nowhere in a post soviet era. One law degree + MBA later, she joined the banking industry in Almaty then in 2005 moved to London where Yuliya spent further 10 years in energy and wealth management. In 2015 Yuliya has lost her interest in the corporate world and took her chances as a full time artist.
